    Super Thread!! Rare U-Boat Badge

This rare version came from the Polish port of Leadsinkerdski. I personally visited the Kapitan zur See at his home in Paducah to photograph this. There is a rarer version mit brilliants.

I have a matched, cased set including the same SS UBoote badge. The set also includes 16mm & 9mm miniature stickpins, AND the covetted SS UBootesmann finger ring. The ring is engraved Juli 20 L/12 925 C.F Juncker Berlin NE - South 69. This cased set was found in the basement of the Braun Haus in 1946 by my uncle Shady, who was a vet.

Will accept Paypal. Let me know your size.

                Sorry, this belongs on DeKneipe.

Isn't it astonishing--here we have the thread about "50" GABs being scientifically "cloned" by scanning computers, and yet the same ridiculous garbage that made me snort with disdain as a 10 year old back in LBJ days is STILL making money off morons?!!!

That old P.T> Barnum "sucker born every minute" sure is true--there have been quite a few born in the last 35 years, it seems!

Anyone up for a salvage expedition to find Himmler's U-boat?

I think the last time this u-boat was seen was 1969 in the Devils Triangle, or was it in the Antarctic.

No! No! No! It was captured by the Russians May 6, 1945 and sent to Murmask. After sitting in dry dock for 50 years the Russian mafia sold it to the afghans for a ton of heroin. The Arabs hired a group of former Kreigmarines, who though were 85 to 90 years old were flown in from their hiding places in Syria and Argentinia to refit the boat. After 2 years of extensive work the new Taliban U-boat was made operational.... but it was at this time the mullahs came to the realization that Afghanistan is a land locked country.

OK, but what happened to the other SS U-Boat badges that were still on board? The one above must be a factory sample, or maybe a wearer's copy....
