If you want my advice...I would buy the group while you still can, and then do the research!
It has been reduced, and is quite tempting for many, even without a name!!!

Just found it .... not a bad price, especially if there can be a connection to a veteran. Worth a shot.

Yeah, I think I will. But I could already buy the whole group of Othmar Hermes with luck, with his 57 awards, papers and albums of his BW Zeit. And some pictures from the war. A lot of stuff. So I have to think carefully first

Well the Hermes group sounds much better, with solid provenance, so i'd go for that, and maybe not bother with this one??

Or you can sell the Hermes group to me and go for this one instead.....

'Just kidding'. I've had the pleasure of seeing the Hermes group and it's really stunning gents!

              Regards,

What you think friends, is it still possible to find out who the owner was? He offered it to me for 250€

I think it should be possible to find out who these belonged to.....but it wont be easy!!!
You have a few important pieces of info, you have the awards he won, and where he died, you could search though the list of RKT's to see if any match, but that will take a long time given the thousands to look through!
Can't see any quick way of finding the guy??

Yes I don't know why, he offered it to me for 230,but I haven't got a good feeling.

Well, all the pieces look good, even if they didn't all belong to one RKT, I think they are probably worth that much as a collection of unattributed items??
