    Combatclasp for Destroyers in Silver

    Hello,
until now I never saw a second example of a Combatclasp for Destroyers in Silver, Frontflugspange für Zerstörer in Silber, in such an early version from S&L with wartime hinge/pin/catch.

So I want to present it to you, perhaps someone has a further piece in his collection and is willing to show it.

    best regards

I really like these clasps ! That is indeed an early one !
On these early ones I believe the device in the centre is two piece....the black device being applied on top of the silvered central backing of the award.......later ones were all one piece.
        Prost ! Steve.

          Hi,

          Great clasp!!

Silver grade in this early piece is really tough to find !!

          Thanks for posting

          Best,

Now that is a type of clasp we don't see often with a wide pin and what looks like a great finish. Don't know if that is the camera or not.

Can you provide two more shots? One - a close picture of the wings. I want to see if there are any veins on them. You can see right next to the wreath. To me, it doesn't look like it but I can't trust my eyes. Two - a picture of the middle that shows the side of the front and back of the centre device.

Thanks for showing. These are rare too see.

              Regards,
              Rudy
