    DKiG & PAB 100 Frackkettchen..................

Gentlemen, one of my 57er "Frackkettchen" or mini chain with seven award miniatures attached....they are generally worn on civilian dress suits, on the wearers left lapel, like a "Frack bar" the awards run from right to left in importance, so when attached to the lapel the highest award is, well, the highest ! It contains the following awards, Deutsche Kreuz in Gold, EK I, EK II, Silver wound badge, Panzerkampf Abzeichen for 100 engagements, GAB, and Ost medal.
DKiG is of multi-part construction, glued together, and the PAB is actually a lower class with the 100 added where the box for 25/50 should be and also for some reason the EK II has been attached rear first ! (Friday afternoon made !)
Both the 100 Panzerkampf Abzeichen and the Silver wound bage has the "O" mark on the rear, and notice to the two piece riveted construction of the 100 Panzerkampf Abzeichen.....the details on the awards are stunning and crisp, probably a St u L made pieces. This piece was once owned by Nigel.
Sadly it has no provenance, its owners identification lost in time !
    Prost ! Steve.

                          Hi Steve!
Yes, I remember that one, fine chain!!
Quite a few highlights on there!!
The DK, although not the very earliest with riveted construction, is still multi-piece, and a nice example, and of course the PAB...at the time it was the only one I had seen, where they had converted a lower class, into a higher one, but since then, I have seen at least one other!!!
All in all, a great set, just a shame the vets name was not known!!!!
