Another Souval RK with oaks

Hey guys,

here is another Souval RK with Oaks. I already have more than enough, but this set was really cheap so I just couldn't resist.
While the RK is a nice mid-later production silver frame cross with some typical flaws, the oaks are certainly not Souval style oaks. Judging from flaw they look like "S&L 57'er oaks"... love that term.
Anyway, I really like to hear your opinion the these oaks.

Not sure if the Oaks are S&L ? Others will know ! Tom

A nice combination, especially like the ribbon configuration.
IMO the oaks are cast reproduction, I've indicated areas of concern.

Nice RK, and the Oaks are based on the S&L design for sure as the flaws are there to see, but as Mathijs points out, there are area's on both obverse and reverse that look like signs of casting, and the overall look seems soft? Added to that, the finish on the Oaks doesn't look typical to me for S&L?
If you could post a few more close photo's in natural or different light, that might help, but at the moment, I don't believe the Oaks are an original S&L made set?
But the RK is very nice, with a great look to it!!!

Finding a set of Souval oaks will be difficult, but they show up from time to time. Souval Oaks & Swords are always around so maybe you could go that way. Tom
