    Earlier Souval RK

I've decided to add one more RK to round off the RK collection, this time a Souval one with Swaz. As much as I'd like a postwar S&L with swaz, its a bit out of my league. I'd like to get an earlier Souval perhaps a silver one, but I shall watch and see what comes along. I'm just after the cross loop and ribbon rather that OLs or OL&Ss. If anyone sees one along the way all assistance would be most gratefully accepted.

I'll look at the SOS. I know there will be some there. What's your budget allow on one? I made a note of what type. I know so many people there that I don't think there will be a problem of a cross being held for you. Tom

Guys thanks for that. My budget is around $300 AU give or take a bit. That's about $250 US at present with our dreadful dollar. I may be able to squeeze a bit more, but that's a start.

Tony, the best place to look for one of Rudys finest is here on E-Stand, I have obtained two from E-Stand over the last six months or so, one for me, and one for a collector friend.....both "800" marked.....keep an eye out there.
          Prost ! Steve.

I agree Steve, my only trouble is that they've generally sold before I wake up the next morning after the listing, as they're listed when the people in Europe and the US are awake All part of the thrill of the chase and all that nonsense.

Just remembered Jamie Cross Militaria had one for sale a week or so ago. I don't know the details, but it might be worth checking out. Tom

Looking at the funds a bit more, I could probably go up to $400 US. Onwards further.

Probably your best bet is the Estand. They seem to shoe up there more often than on dealers sites. I've been watching. Tom

Shouldn't have much problems finding a good one at that price range. I just bought another early one with oaks, silver frame and full length old ribbon for just about 150€ The deals are out there.
                        Best regards,
                        Alex

Like I said the Estand & dealer sites and of course Military shows. I'll look for you at the SOS in two weeks. I know there will be a bunch there. If I find one & know the dealer I'll see if he will contact you and see what happens. Tom
