Nigel had asked for some pics on this...it has been on a medal bar at some point, the top of the ribbon was folded over and sewn onto a bar...some threads were still on it...

Looks like a fine original and early piece, the earliest were extra thick and heavy as this one looks to be!
The early ones also had a much nicer, less glittery finish than modern made pieces, though its hard to get a true impression of the finish because of the lighting, if you could take a couple of pics in natural light, that would be great, but I don't see any problems!!!
