                Hello felloes!

Would you please help me to identify if this sport reward DSA (1948-1950) is original? How many of them were produced? And are they rare?
I will greatly appreciate your help!

P.S. Please, see the picture from above.

I can only see the reverse photo, the obverse (front) photo is not showing for me!
But from what I can see, it looks like a genuine S&L badge from the earlier postwar years!
You don't see too many around, so I guess they are quite scarce??

In our country DSA is very rare. In Ukraine DRL and DRA i see many around.

                      Hi Tanais,

yes, these badges are rare, not only in the Ukraine!

Between 1948 and 1952 a number of 15.682 badges had been awarded, in Bronze, Silber and Gold.
As I know, all the badges had been made by St&L. I found two different needles.

But, please note, this is not a 1957 version!

                      Uwe

                        Hi,

I agree with Uwe. I have a nice silver DRL, have a look.

                          Hi,

this is also not a 1957 version. Sports badges can never be 1957 versions.

This is a badge without any official background, the first in a row of three different types of post war badges DRL without the swastika.

                          Uwe
