A word about the sandblasted frame, don't be tempted to try and polish it up, I remember it was tried a few years ago, and no amount of polishing or buffing will result in a shiney frame!!! -Nigel

I totally agree with Nigel, DO NOT POLISH ! not only will you ruin it ! but you will devalue it !

Glad to see that you have obtained a nice 57er RK. Even though it is of recent manufacture it is still very nice ...and worthy. Its all a part of the lineage. Don't worry if it gives you the burn for an earlier piece. We are all collectors after all.... we may take breaks, but it seems as if we never really "stop".

If the chance comes in the future for an earlier cross and OL/S that I can afford then I'll grab them. Just glad I've finally got a nice RK of my own.

Sorry, a little late to the party due to work. The RK set looks great! I am glad you were able to get one and I hope an EK2 soon.
