I don't like it ... the details are too soft and the paint job is really poor on this one. Pass on it !

Thick paint, makes it look like a one piece.

Ed. I remember looking at this one now. Hats off to the seller whose given a side shot of the join between the frames. At least one knows what one is getting.

I think its probably ok, but later than the seller thinks, the core is painted after assembly, and also looks to have a sandblasted finish to the frame, a long way after "late 70's" IMO!
Many nicer examples around if you are patient!!

KR. The one I have ordered through another ebay seller is a little earlier than this and includes OLS and the Etui. I'll post some shots when it arrives. For me it will be just fine, 1980s is the guess, but it was $400 AUD so an even better deal in USD. It does depend on what you want though. It may be too new for what you're looking for.

A very late St u L produced RK indeed, poor construction as pointed out ! However if you have a collection of RK's spanning the entire timeline, then it is worth having, if only to compare to its earlier quality made brothers.
I have one, it fits in to my collection as probably part of the last St u L produced batches of RK's.
