1957 award docs for DKiG + 57´minis

just wanted to show my latest find. There are the ww2 aera documents as well as the 57 area docs. I have not seen these 57 documents before so wanted to share them with you. Let me know what you think.

Great group Jens!!
I really like the documents.
But why he got "Abschrift" (transcript) for his Urkunden?
Who has an idea?

I have seen similar awards long time ago.

These are not "1957 award documents" but simply statements by the Bundeswehr confirming the receipt of these awards during 40-45.
I would assume that - with these statements - the soldier could purchase and wear the wartime awards in their 57er version on his uniform ???

I own a different type of statement, however believe with same purpose ...

The docs, as Mathijs said are replacement copies, and could be for various uses, personal or otherwise.
The stickpins and ribbon bars are very nice too!!
All adding up to an excellent and very interesting group to one vet!!

Great group Jens, paperwork to do with the 57er awards are rare and difficult to obtain, great pieces of history to go along with your 57er collection ! Thanks for showing............

Till now I know only documents for replace, that means for lost original documents / Urkunden.
So that surprises me, never seen parallel replacements and originals.
Very cool.

Correct Nigel, My old friend Hans had his war time doc's for his EK2, black wound badge, and Inf. assault badge. (also the awards). for personal reasons he obtained post war copies just to have for his records. He did not serve in the Bundeswehr and never purchased 57 versions. I now have all of these in my collection. Tom

Thanks alot for the insight guys Iam not into 57 awrads so I had no reeal clue as to the purpose of these docs.
So any input is welcome.
