57er Medal Bar

After long time ago I have to post some new stuff here,
I think it is time now.

Here is my new medal bar, but especially with the second look.
I can't resist when I saw it...

Super bar!!!!
Deschler EK2 on a medalbar.......very rare!!!!!
And what a great example of a Deschler it is, most of them have lost at least some of their core paint, but this one is perfect, that's something special!!
The bar itself is great too, as the EK is combined with a 12 year long service, not the normal 4 year, or a combination of both 12 & 4, that's something I haven't seen before!!!
Congrats on a great medalbar, and thank you for showing it here!!!!!!!

@ Nigel- are you sure you have not seen a medal bar with the 12yr medal and no 4yr? I thought you had one in your collection? (5-er bar with EK2/Lifesaving/etc)

I have seen the 12 year without 4 year, and your memory is good!!
but I meant a two place bar with just the 12 year, that's something I haven't seen before, and thinking about it, I don't think I've seen a 57er bar with just 12 & 4 year medals, and nothing else???

True, I have not seen that either now that you come to mention it! A lot of the Third Reich 12 & 4 year combos were constructed before the War and never updated with other medals as there was perhaps little opportunity or need. After the War veterans had time and even occasion to have everything mounted I guess.
