"foxtrott" has this fake DKiG on E-bay now, check out the backing material the DK is photographed against, exactly the same as "Antikvoss" uses, also a seller of fake DK's and all the new EK fakes with weird pins, both sellers also pair their fakes up with stickpins, and I believe both come from Hamburg!!
      Coincidence....I think not!!!!!!!!!!!

The messing with the rivets is just a bit obvious on the DK isn't it. Sillies.

                Thanks for the info Tom!!
I would love to know where he is getting these pieces from, as a lot of his stuff, appears to be made from either S&L parts or struck from the dies, certainly in the case of his EK1's, the cores and frames are an exact match to S&L's only the weird hardware and sometimes the overdone aging make them look iffy!!!

Nigel...If he is at the 2014 SOS (end of Feb.) I will see just how much I can find out about this guy & his stuff. I've been attending OVMS Mil. show's since 1972 and this year is the first time I have ever laid eyes on him. I KNOW I can get at least his name & address for sure. Tom

                    Thanks Tom!!
He seems to be the main man for this new type of fake, and I have a feeling that he is more than just selling these on, 3 Ebay ID's, selling at shows etc. sounds like a serious business venture, if he or whoever he gets these EK's from, puts the correct style hardware on them, it will be very difficult to tell them apart from genuine pieces!!
Heres some more of his recent Ebay offerings.......

                      Hi Guys,

Ever bought a '57 item off eBay under the influence? Well, I have joined that club! About a week ago, after several rounds of very good frozen margaritas I quickly checked eBay and saw a '57 Ost medal which looked pretty good. Being the happy bidder, I somehow managed to win and luckily did not spend an obscene amount. The medal has not yet arrived from Germany, however I noticed exactly the same photos and a new '57 Ost medal offering two days ago. Never a good sign! How many can the seller have? The seller is antikmarktmuensterland in Dortsen, Germany. Anyone aware of this seller? He does list a 14 day return policy. I am very interested to see what arrives and I will post.

Unfortunately, we are very aware of this seller
He sells a mix of stuff, some fake, some ok, some good, but artificially aged!
Hopefully your Ost will be ok, please post it when you get it, then we can all have a look, fingers crossed, but theres certainly a chance it may be a dodgy one??
                        We'll see!!!

                          Hi Nigel,

Thank you for the response and I am expecting dodgy! I guess we will see when the post arrives. I will post images as well as construction details. Do you know if he lists under any other names?

Also, can I enter myself in the eBay Hall of Shame for being a dumb ass, drunken buyer!

                          Best to All!
