Please take particular note of the details on this Police cross, as, while it is without doubt a fake, it is quite convincing!!!
One give-away is the bevelled suspension ring!!!!!!!!

Another "winning" combination from our old friend "eisernerhans"!!
Another EK1 & Stickpin pairing, but this EK is one of the scariest fakes so far
Looks to be made, again, from core and frame struck from S&L dies, or new dies that are virtually identical, pretty good looking hardware, not correct for a 57 S&L EK, but you really have to know your 57ers to realise that, many people would be quite convinced by this one I think, the hinge and pin are close to S&L wartime style!!
The thing that most stands out is the catch, just too thick and crude, similar to Deumer's half-round wire style but, thankfully, not right! Indeed the pin, hinge and catch all seemed to based on the Deumer design?b4MjUhBuvIwZ138609617568P2041.jpg

Ebay is now full of old jewellery cases that have been converted to house medals, most often Imperial, but it was only a matter of time before a 57 group appeared!!!
The EK is a decent early 60's S&L, but the DKiG, is the well known recent, aged, fake isn't it??
Don't like the look of the GAB either!!!

I'm shaking my head daily when browsing eBay ... the crap they now call 57er.
More popular now is clipping the swastika from bad copies and calling them 1957 versions.
Or putting groups together ... then you have a bunch of crap ... but some-one does buy it .

That sounds more like the ebay I've always known. The seller I bought the RK from hasn't had another like it since. I'm glad I jumped. I only normally go to ebay for copies, then I know I'm not going to get done over. ioffer is even better.
