Sorry, I havenĀ“t good photos of my Deumer in this moment, so I had to help myself with graphics. When I do photos with better camera, I will post them.

    This cross is 39/57er.

          Hi.

IMO both my shows crosses (flat and vaulted
) are the same! They are just a different finish .
Michal showed an interesting cross! Clearly a different signature ( without the line to the left) and pin!

          Best regards.

          Maciej G.

Thanks Maciej, and thanks to Michal too! Yes, the cross Michal showed us, has no extended line, most likely a wartime produced piece?? Some of the very earliest Deumer 57ers probably did use old, leftover wartime back plates, this could be one......
            L/11 mark without the box!!!!!!!!!!!

PS Pin shapes do vary slightly!!!!!!!!

This came in today with a batch of stuff. These pieces seem to generate more questions than answers.

The bottom inside of the box has this stamp:

Most of what I see seems to peg these L/11 Imperial EK1' as being from 1957 - is there any proof that they also made these during the WWII era?

                        Hi!
The example you show is TR era produced, IMO, not 57 period!!
The catch is thicker, the backplate has the "white" rather than silver finish to it, the beading is a lot less flawed on your example than it would be on a 57 period produced piece, and as already mentioned earlier in the thread, the L/11 mark does not have the extending horizontal lines, another sign of WW2 era production!!
There is no doubt Deumer made Imperial style EK's during the TR period, what is less sure, is if they actually made them during the Imperial/ WW1 period!
