    Deutsche Olympia-Ehrenzeichen 2.Klasse

    Hi,

today i get these IMO very early and rare Olympia-Ehrenzeichen.Sadly there is a damage on the front.

The rings are hold by rivets.

Hi Patrick!! Nice piece, shame about the enamel damage, but these are pretty scarce, especially in the earlier rivetted form, i've been thinking about getting one of these myself, but they are hard to find, and usually go for quite a high price!!
Congratulations on landing this one, and thanks for sharing it with us, not a piece you see too often, which is a shame, as i think its a great design, with loads of history behind it!!!!!!!!!!

That's a beautiful and scarce piece Patryk! Congrats on adding it!

The damage isn't so bad that it spoils the piece. I think too, it's possible to repair it. A jeweler might be able to help you with that, or if you do a bit of study, you might be able to tackle it yourself.

In either case, nice addition bud!

Great and rare piece, my friend

IMO early production and really hard to find and so the damage is only a small bad taste on that one

              A very rare 57er piece!
              Congratulation Patrick.

For reference, it looks Luud`s 1. Klasse was repaired and it is not easy to see.

But is interesting to see here the base material and the surface "under" the enamel.
