No General there. The medal for firefighting is for Rheinland-Pfalz i believe.

On teh backside is enscribed: FUER VERDIENSTE IM BRANDSCHUTZ

Nice ribbon bars !

The last one on the bottom ribbon bar is that a Bulgarian award ?

The reason i ask is that i have an army honor clasp ribbon bar with the last award having the same backing ribbon but different miniature.

I love 1957 ribbon bars , i currently have 7 and i,m searching for a bar with the cholm shield and one with the kurland cufftitle on , both of which i,ve seen on Ebay and missed !

Thanks alot, as for that last ribbon I haven't got a possative ID on it yet, but that was my guess too. I suppose it could also be some type of post war award too.

Check out Ebay.de, I was on there last night & came across a few very nice '57 bars w/cufftitles & sheilds on them.

Those appear to be from the same man. Did he have the wound badge added later?

Yes they belonged to the same person and managed to get a small 1957 grouping of his, but not complete. It seems he got the wound badge later.
