    22-place ribbon bar

    Gentlemen,

I am sure some of you have already spotted this one.

I am some what suspicious given its sheer size and the mixture of Luftwaffe and Heer awards. In fact I just plain don't like it!
But maybe the guy was an all round battle field machine fighting on many fronts....

    What are your thoughts?

    Merry Christmas
    Pierce

    Hello

i am also suspicious due to the too many different cuff titles and mixture of Luftwaffe and Heer.
Don't think it belonged to nobody ( or to superman, who knows)

    Regards

      Doubts backed by facts

Hello guys ! Well I agree with what you have said ! In doing the research for my book Tank Killers Luft guys were not common. After I looked at this I checked my files and I can say this: There was NO Luft. para Oakleaves winner that is credited with 6 Tank Kills in any official records anywhere. I can't speak for the other awards on this bar, but you have already pointed out the obvious doubts. SO......I think it is a well put together fantasy Bar. Tom

        Hi Pierce!
Yes, i already had my doubts about that ribbonbar!
Its very easy to buy all the separate pieces and put a bar like this together!
It appears to be very new looking and have no signs of age at all, i too believe it to be a modern put-together!!

            Pierce & Nigel question.....

How much is the asking price on this bar?? If sold as just a "Put" together bar it would be nice to have since it has SO many diff ribbon examples on it. But I'll bet thats not the case ! Tom

              Hi Tom!
Its up for auction, currently at 101 Euro's, and still over a day to go!!
If this one doesnt appeal, the same seller also has this British ribbonbar with an OBE!!.................

                Thanks Nigel !

Thanks Nigel....Well looking at the British bar I guess that confirms our thoughts on the 57 bar ! 101 Euros and it closes in another day....NOT for my money ! Oh well it would have been nice to have as a Bar example, but WAY over priced for sure ! Thanks again, Tom

                      Wrong Order

                      Gentlemen,

The War Merit First Class Cross ribbon was placed in the wrong order! The maker of that ribbon bar was a crook indeed!

                      Sincerely,

                      Edward L. Hsiao

Sure does seem that way. Though my first thought is with some unsuspecting buyer who did not do their homework.

                            Best regards

It looks nice, but if its a put-together, it has no historical importance at all!
Its sad to think someone will have this in their collection believing it to be a genuine RKT's bar!!
