    I'm no expert on these, but seems to be a rare Assmann version .... If so, guess many will want it in their collection .

      yours looks like an assman to me even down to the paler finish on the wreath and the style of eagle

      when looking at the eagles extended leg can anyone else see a partial chip (maybe where a swas was??)

            Hi George,

            Very nice and interesting piece. Certainly not the typical S&L examples we often see.

            The eagle is most noticeably not an S&L, looks more like a Juncker or Osang, very cool.
