    Another Cased Deumer EK1

Hi guys, i really only try to find variants i have'nt got, either the cross or case, so i should'nt really have bought this one, as i have a few similar crosses, and one in an identical case, but when i saw it, i could'nt resist!!!
The case is another converted wartime leftover, this time a KVK1 without swords, it has had two layers of paper covering the original stencilled KVK, a small circular piece, and on top of that, a full piece covering all the lid!
It also has a replacement piece over the hinge, which is magnetic, the catch too...001.JPG

A couple of views inside the case, with the tray removed, no markings apart from some pencilled numbers...

The cross itself is a really nice, early, unmarked Deumer, with a highly burnished frame, and a nice looking matt black core with some veining and a couple of rust spots....

The reverse has the usual hardware, with the early form of wide hingeblock.......017.JPG

Yes indeed old friend! Sometimes, ya just gotta pull that trigger!

I like this one as I do all your crosses. That's a really nice case too! I have ZERO EK cases in my small colection. Always wanted one, just hasn't happened...yet.

I really like the veining in the paint. Nice to see that! Does the paint look like semi-matte. Like just a slight bit of gloss and not the usual flat. matte, or is it just my old eyes?

                    Another nice addition EK King!

Your EK collection is growing like weed
I have no idea how many 1957 EK's have been made, but in this rate they will become very rare for us to find
