Gab 200

Recently, I bought this GAB 200 on the e-stand (DavidM). I believe that some of you may have seen it, but it is the only one like it that I have seen.

I know that it is a 'fantasy' badge (as it is not listed in the '57 list), but it seems that these may have been made at some point as is evident by the existence of this one.

Does anyone have any info on this badge, who may have made it and when? Has anyone seen any like this?

Hi,
I have seen numbered 57er Allgemeine Sturmabzeichen and Panzerkampfabzeichen with "200".
If you search at the forum you will find some.
Made for collectors.
Looks like a modern S&L.

The GAB 200 that I found posted is the exact same badge (DavidM sold it to me).

The numbered GAB are out there, even the early ones by S&L.
I've seen them with 25 & 50 but I guess your 200 is a bit too much .

Nevertheless, looks like yours was made indeed by S&L - during the eighties ( just rough guess ).
I saw David's sale, which had a collection of early and modern, but he offered them at more then fair prices, IMO.

Its a nice piece .
