    Wonderful medal bar, Nigel

I too saw that one for auction and thought about it but when the price raised up i had to go....

I love the unusual combination especially the silesian eagle on that one. The KVK is IMO not a 57er one, i have never seen a 57er with the lost of the bronce tone.

      Thanks Rudiger
It was the unusual combination that i liked too, 3 of the 4 medals i did'nt have on medalbars!!
I also agree with you, that i've never seen a 57 KVK look like this one, i wish i could see more of the reverse, from what i can see, theres no sign of a removed swastika, but if its been very well done, it would be very hard to tell!!!!
      -Nigel
Quick update, have managed to see more of the reverse, and the central disc, is totally flat and smooth, and bare grey zinc, so IMO a swastika has been removed, probably not by hand, but its definitely a de-nazified wartimer!!
I wonder why they bothered when you cant see it???

Definitely one of the finer 57 bars to be seen...complete quality and an excellent pick up.

            Cheers,

            Glen
