    My favourite DKis

Lately there aren't many early and rare items posted.
So I went through my collection to see if I could find something to juice it up in this section.
And with a DKis you never can go wrong, so I made pictures of my most beloved DKis.

I also made some pictures for the miniature lovers from an uncommon ribbon bar with DKis.

                Thanks guys, much appreciated.
I will also post some scans to show the differences with the more common (but still lovely) S&L.

Hi Luud .... two extremely lovely DKiS you show us here ... thanks for that.
But I would not call the wide pin S&L a more common one ... still missing in my collection ... actually both are .

Thanks, I know you like DK's.

I know they are not easy to find but I called them "more common" because I am only aware of 1 DKis of the "unknown maker" while I have seen around 5 DKisses with wide pin made by S&L.

To make it more complete I will show 2 DKigs wich contain parts that are made from the same dies wich are IMO slightly earlier (as far as that is possible).
Although the DK's seem to have Deschler parts, I am still not 100% convinced about the maker.
It was interesting to see that both came in a RKT group consisting the earliest S&L's.

And who cares about the maker?
Those 6-rivit DK's are just beautifull
And I do remember (unless you sold it) that this is a DKig that you DO HAVE in your collection!

Well this was enough "juicing up" for this week, my new mountainbike is waiting to be tested under tough circumstances.........and probably me too.

Don't worry ... it still has a prominent place in my collection .

                        A bunch of beauties

The Deschler DKiS is too the first i´ve seen so far, great quality and top looking
Luckily i don´t collect DK´s by makers so i don´t have the stress to find another one

The ribbon bar looks familiar to mine...only the awards are in the right order here
Well, we must talk about that

DKiS pieces....whether awards or bars are always great to have a look at. I often wonder what history stood behind these ones as they were non fighting awards.....maybe a doc who saved tousand lifes or a general staff guy who planned perfectly? Or the "Waffenmeister" ot tank repair guy who was able to repair in short time????? So many possibilities.......

                          Thanks Rudiger.
Also good to see that you could find a little time and I hope that you will have more time in the future again.

I searched and I found it. A lovely jacket also.
I hope you don't mind posting the link:

Your Jacket has similar rank and patches as mine.
Interesting to see that the order of your bar is technically incorrect.
The only difference is that my tunic is made of "Diolene" wich is very thin and the wearer used it most likely for summer wear (although it is an issue tunic).

Of course i don´t mind that you post that thread

I am proud of that tunic and the bar. Although it´s assembled in the wrong order i am sure that all is originally made, sewn and worn. No cheap or expensive fake made not so long ago.

Your tunic seems to be the summer tunic while mine is more a all season variant. Seems really that we here have the rare case of having the tunics from the same soldier
So more information is needed but my seller has no more info......too sad. That would for sure be an interesting guy we have here
