    Not Strictly Correct!!!!!!!!

    Heres an S&L EK2 & Spange combo!!
The 2nd class spange should really be paired up with an Imperial style WW1 EK, or on a length of black & white Imperial ribbon, but this one is mounted on the ribbon of a 57 EK2!!
Its not the first time i've seen this done, Mathijs showed us a nice example recently, on an Austrian style ribbon if i remember correctly?
No idea when they were actually put together, but both the EK and the spange look to be quite early, interestingly, the EK has a loose, rattling core, something you dont often find on S&L's!!001.jpg

I'd suspect, someone trying to be fancy but forgot it wasn't to be placed on a WW2 version of the 57 EK 2

            Hello

I'd agree with Darrell. Most likely an incorrect pairing - but still two genuine early and very nice items
