    DKiS in early halbetui ...

    Hi guys,

With a huge to another forum member, I was able to acquire another item which has been on my wanted list for quite some time now.
Even better, it came in an early double-hinged halbetui, which can be seen here :

Agreed, its not the earliest wide pin DKiS, but it still a good, decent, early made, quality DKiS - you cant argue that .
Here are the pix - not too good quality - weather has been poor here for last few days ....

Enjoy and as usual, I'm looking forward to your comments .

            Hi Mathijs, thats a beauty!!!
As you say, it might not have the earliest coke bottle pin, but its still a pretty early one!!
These dont turn up too often, especially when compared with the DKiG!
It looks to be just about mint??
The double hinge halbetui is IMO one of the nicest cases you can find!!
So, all in all, a great set!!!!!!!cool02.gif

              nice set.

I have a couple of DK's (with the same characteristics as yours) that came with this exact same case without the pushbutton.

I guess that it is some kind of a trasitional case after the more common and IMO earlier halbetuis without the double hinges.

You did very well to catch it.
