    Early pattern DKiG

    Hello gentlemen,

    This beauty arrived a while ago, but I was lacking time to take some decent pictures .

    But nonetheless .... I present to you my 1st early pattern DKiG ... and I it to death !!!

    For the rest, I'll let the pix to the talking .

          Great finish on the golden wreath and with the red enamel inlay . On the starburst, the bronze color is breaking through on several places.

                      What I also noticed and this early piece is much lighter then my later ones. Perhaps different metals were used .

                        Great early piece Mathijs, one to be proud of thats for sure, as you said it has a real quality look to it!!
                        A very good example of an early DKiG, top addition to your collection
                        Interesting to see the tooling mark on the pin, the same as on EK1's by both S & L and Souval's blank core version!!!!!!

                          Wonderful piece
                          It´s the light version with the backplate made of cupal. From what i know this is the very first production, later they switched to the heavy backplate.

                          A piece everyone of us would be proud to have in his collection

                            A beautiful and very early new form S&L DKiG Trouble with these is that they are very, very nice, and one just isn't enough
