    NKS Bronze question

    Hello

Here’s a special one. I'm rather curious to know what you think of it.
    Any ideas? Good or bad?

    Best regards

Forgot to say that the CCC has a wonderful "worn" look, just like wartime ones.
It´s really sad that the backplate is missing but maybe you can add one from a bad wartime one.

                Hello guys

Thank you for your replies. At first I had the same opinion but unfortunately now I beg to differ. IMO this is a fake. Why?

This morning i saw this badge offered by the greatest crook of militaria world, Staegemaier aka Hero. When I saw this, I was alarmed and had a closer look at the details of the CCC. And looking very carefully I noticed the lack of details on this “worn” badge. I post a few compare shots of the middle details. On the reverse I have my doubts on the outline boxes of the catch and hinge. The details are not as sharp as they should be IMO. The catch looks also different to me.

I think this is a sad day for 57 collectors. Next to his copies of wartime badges, the hero started to copy our beloved new form badges. Of course this is my opinion. What do you think when you see the compare?

                Best regards

Mmmh, strange indeed and i don´t really know what i should think now
I heard that not all of Staegemeir´s pieces are copies and why should he get into 57er´s - the prices are lower than on TR items. On the other side he is a dealer with a very bad reputation and does everything for earning money. The more the better
For me it looks like an old, worn 57er S&L CCC - hope i´m right that it´s an original one and not a Staegemeir one

Now let´s see what our other friends say ...

Have you got the adress of his website ?

I find it hard believing this could be a fake ........ To put our minds at rest, I surely hope you are wrong, Stijn .

If its a Staegemaier fake, then we are in trouble .

                            Hello guys

I think we all hope that 57 badge are being faked by that guy. But let's stick to the facts.
How can we explain the lack of detail on this badge?
Where does the green rash on the reverse come from?
                            ...
Looking at all these facts, i still tend to fake but let's hear what others have to say.

                            Best regards

Well gents, the copies have already been here for some time. See Morigi's (sp?) RK's, as an example.

I'd like to know the measurements and weight of this piece. One thing I noticed is that the width of the material used on the catch looks thin compared to others I own or have been posted here.
