    Selling off my 57er collection

    Hello friends,

    I have enjoyed collecting the 57er items and making many friends in this forum. I have decided to focus my collecting mainly on WW2 German Police items from headgear to boots!

    As a result of this decision I am opening my collection on a first come first served basis. It will be easiest for you to look back at my old posts and all I ask is that you send me a photo (front & back) of the items you are interested in and make me an offer on its price.

    I will not be selling my medal Bars at this time and will be keeping a small representation of a few ribbon bars. Other than that everything goes.

    Again, my best to you all and please take advantage of the wonderful collection I have built up with most of the items in my collection having come from you! Here is a small portion of the collection for your convience.

      Hello Vince,

      thanks for your offer selling your 57er collection.
      I have to say that your pics are much to small to see better details and not every item can be found on your posts here. So it´s very diffcult to decide what´s collectable as you know i only collect VERY early items.
      For example i haven´t found your navy honour table clasp in our section and the auxiliary cruiser
      Maybe you can upload bigger pics so it would easier to decide....

      Mathijs, i think he don´t have to sell - he wants to sell ... can´t understand it, but it´s his decision.

        Hi Vince, sorry to hear you are getting out of 57ers, but i know your first love is Police related items!! You've some nice things there, if i had cash to spare i might take a few EK's off your hands, if you've still got them in a few weeks, let me know!! -Nigel

            I can understand why. I too have very recently decided to sell off most of my 57er collection, because I want to concentrate on collecting EKs and EK-related items exclusively. So basically I'm selling all my 57er items except for the EKs and the one 10-place ribbon bar I have.

            Some collectors never get rid of anything, while others tend to specialize (especially collectors newer to collecting, like me, who don't really decide what they REALLY like to collect until they've bought and then sold many different types).

                  I've sold everything here. I offered one item privately to a member here who sold it to me, and he bought it. The others are up on the eStand. The only two items left are a nice Ostmedaille and a nice KVK2 w/ swords.
