Another Heer color scheme example with Luft Eagle. This one does have the correct Heer wreath with oaks on both sides.

Here is the most commonly seen New Form Para badge in Luft color scheme, with Luft wreath and eagle.

          Hello

Are you sure it's not a normal silver one, and it doesn't just need a good clean

Seriously, that's one I'd like to see in my collection.

          Regards
          David

Haha! Nope, it's a bluing process much like firearms receive. A very nice look, but more expensive to produce.

I too would like one, but as of yet, the bugger has escaped me.

Any pics of the reverse of those FJ badges with the dark wreaths?

                Sadly no, George.

I saved these pics years ago when I didn't understand the significance of hardware.

                  Hi Guys,

Since everyone has copies that they are not "happy" with I want to ask if anyone is interested in selling theirs.

Perhaps I can upgrade mine before it even arrives! Never hurts to ask!
                  Happy Hunting,
                  Vince

Just to be different, here's one from my collection - a Luftwaffe FJ with a Luftwaffe eagle!!! Before anyone asks, solid block hinge but not the round style pin.

I am not sure about the eagles. I did think myself that it had to be another hersteller before I read something here on the WAF and coloured whatever the need was.
So many oddities I have seen sofar of wich I never paid any attention to, but I just started collecting 57's, so I am a complete novice working to get some more knowledge.

But I do know enough to see that FJ badge is a very nice and IMO very early badge regardless the hardware, I like it alot
