I would like to propose a gentlemens agreement that if you do not have the money to bid on or purchase an item, you do not post a link to it's home.

Rudiger, I mean no offense and I know you meant well, but it causes grief to potential buyers everytime this happens.

I planned to bid on it and hoped to get it for a nice price.
But now I know Mathieu is after it, I will back off, but I am afraid that it will most likely go through the roof.
But there is still enough other nice stuff around

But if we are talking about a gentlemens agreement!
what really annoyes me are the PM's from people that keep sending PM's and mails to try to buy some stuff everytime something is posted.
And I know that it is not only me who gets these messages.
And in this section it seems to happen ofter than in other sections. Personally I think it's rude and somethimes insulting as well.

I collect stuff to build a collection and post them to share and I am not posting to sell them. The e-stand is meant to sell stuff.
I get tired of sending friendly mails back so I descided to ignore ALL these messages.

What a potential buyer just wishes to be first in line for the day when it may come up for sale? Doesn't seem rude to me to express interest in this manner, except if an interested buyer made multiple attempts. Now that would be annoying. Just my .02 worth.

PS I won't be bidding on this one.

Sorry guys I see that it was a mistake. I will never do that.
            I just edited the links.

I hope you can forgive me

            @george
Why won´t you bid at this RK, is something wrong with it?

Hi Luud, I actually found it before this was posted here ... I've put high reserves on both, but as usual some-one will beat me to it in the last few seconds anyway . If I dont get it, I surely hope another forum member can take it home .

Rudiger, I have enough of these 1st types so no need for me to hoard them all! Hope one of our WAF members in this section is the winner, though.

Most likely someone made him an offer he couldn't resist and he unlisted it.
So he saves the e-bay costs as well. IMO not an honest way of doing business.
I am really sorry for you.

                      BTW: It wasn't me.

Sorry Mathijs! I've experienced that same unhappy event.

I'm with Luud on this. Someone offered the seller the JACKPOT and he grabbed it. It's not an honorable way of doing business at all. Before anyone bids, okay. After people start bidding, NOT COOL!

I'm sorry for you, too, Mathys. I have lost dozens of items on eBay this way! You will find a nice one though.

Was anyone ever in touch with the seller via email? Seems a reasonable thing to ask him what happened.
                          Best regards,

This is not fair to all bidders, i only hope it was not my fault because i posted the links . But the time will come where another 1st pattern will be offered there, and time to wait is what a collector must have

I´m so sorry for you, Mathys Only wished you can get it.

I sent him message via eBay asking him to explain why he withdrew the item. I'm still in the running for the DKiG, though.
