DKiG case

Hi,
Although the lid shows the imprint of a swastika,I believe this to be an early 57 case that has seen a lot of use.Any alternative views?

It has all the characteristics of an early '57 DK case.

I believe so ... I thought one-hinge piece = wartime / two-hinge piece = postwar. This one looks like early 1957.

I am not a case collector. But am surprised to read that these cases are early cases.
But it is never to late to learn

I have 3 cased S&L DK's myself of the earliest manufacture date and the all came in completely different halb etuis.
None of these have a coloured striping. My DKis came in the same type of case as my DKig.

Hi,
Your right Luud,I know about the cases you describe.If mine is by S&L it could be pre 57.Or it could be from another maker.Difficult to tell.
One thing for sure:its an old case.
