                      The frame looks like a Monday production, bad cut out . But as you said, very shiny and a fantastic core. I would put this one into my collection

                            thanks for the comments guys, insightful as always!! it is a curious cross! someone must have been having a bad day at the S & L factory when they cut out the frame, the inside corners are nearly square but the silver plating on the frame is top notch, burnished to a high sheen, it gives it one of the best finishes i've ever seen...weird!!! no MM on the ring Trevor! and i've still got room for many more EK's!! -Nigel
