      I would think that only the third Lappland Shield is an approved New Form award. None came with cloth backing, so that makes me think the first is a fantasy piece and the second is too crude and has no prongs.

      Any other thoughts on these examples?
      In fact, the second one had side prongs which are broken off. I believe this to be an earlier '57 version than the one with back prongs...
