I do not think there is a thing as a "1957" drivers badge.

I know that there is no eagle and swastika on the original WW II badge but normaly after 1957 all the army badge were make again. I show a Drivers badge 1957 on the last Andre Hüsken list. Have a look on it !

        Thanks

        All the best

          Hi Christophe,

"... all the army badges were made again" before 1957!

"Originale wie verliehen!" Originals as awarded!

There were some more after 1957, but how one will differntiate between the 1950, 1957 and the 1965 production? These were allways the same copies, because they must not change the dies.

"I show a Drivers badge 1957 on the last Andre Hüsken list."

You can show a copy of a drivers badge, produced 1957, if you really know the year exact.

Please, don't say 1957 (version) or "1957 drivers badge" to a copy!

          Regards
          Uwe

            Thanks Speedytop !

Can you give me more information please ? If I inderstood you well, after the war the factorys used the same dies that during the war ! But are these productions are magnetic ?
What do you are thinking about the bronze badge non-magnetic selling by Detlev (with just one hole) ?

            Thanks by advance

              Hi Christophe,

"These were allways the same copies, because they must not change the dies."

Yes, some factories used for some times the same dies they used during the TR period.

But I want to express basically, that the factories used in 1957 and later the same dies they used before 1957 for such pieces, where they must not change the design. And that must not be the dies from the TR period, that could be new post WW II made dies. To produce post WW II copies, 1950, 1957, 1970 and 2007.

I'm not able to write something about drivers badges, magnetic or non-magnetic, original or copy.
For that you must change to the correct Wehrmacht section.

              Regards
              Uwe

                  Hello Christophe,

may be it would help, here are two postwar copys, fakes, remakes, replacement pieces of the Kraftfahrbewährungsabzeichen from Steinhauer & Lueck. They are strucked from a thin sheet of brass, not iron.
