57 U Boat Badge

I have just received this 57 version of the U Boat badge. I would say that this is a mid produced piece.

As usual, any comments or observations welcome.

Hi David.
The badge is nice and original, made of high quality tombak with crisp details. The needle lets it down a bit though as it was in use on more modern versions of the 1957 EK1. Perhaps a 1970's as you suggest?
