57 Version Of The Olympic Neck Cross

I have just recieved this 57 version of the Olympic Neck Cross. It has, at some point, suffered a small bit of enamel damage on the right side arm, which has been repaired.

As usual, any comments or observations welcomed.

Have you figured out if it is early or a late production? It looks nice apart from some dings and scratches.

I don't really have anything to compare it against. The only other one of these that I have ever seen is posted on the GMIC in my same thread as this one.

That said, although it has suffered a couple of knocks, judging from the overall quality of it when examined 'in the hand' I'd guess 1960's, possibly late 1960's. But as I say that's a guess based solely on the quality of construction. If anyone else out there has one of these I love them to post it for comparision.
