Hi all.
I have decided to start working on a book about the 1957 new form awards. I have taken the first step now on a long walk. I hope the end result will be an interesting book packed with photos and interesting info. If you have anything that could help the book let me know. I am in particular interested in photos of Bundeswehr soldiers with their 1957 awards on the uniform. If you think you can help let me know through a PM.

Great news Peter. I wish you well with this - and would like to reserve a signed copy now ready for when it is published.

I'm afraid that I don't have any photos of Bundeswehr wearing the 57 version awards. But if you want to use any of the photos of items that I have posted on here, please feel free to do so. If there is any other help that I can provide, just ask.

I have a only half a dozen or so '57 awards but will gladly assist you if you want any pictures.

Peter, just let me know if anything I've posted you can use in your book. I can't wait until I get a copy. I do have a signed color 4x6 of a RKT in his BW uniform wearing all his 57 hardware. Let me know the format that works and I can send it to you.

I am happy and humble for all help i can get. Contributors will have their names in the book if they wish. My hope is that this book will fill a void and help collectors and researchers.
