here is a new member of my collection:

- Ritterkreuz des Kriegsverdienstkreuzes mit Schwertern
- Knights Cross to the War Merit Cross with Swords

It is a very early example made by Steinhauer & Lück.

To be honest, I love the frosting ;-)

Not an expert and It might be my failing eyesight, but the 1 and 9 in the date seem to be dipping below the 3 and nine ? Is this normal and something to look for with S&L examples? In any case a beautiful example and a great catch. congrats.

Sorry it took so long Pattex. I believe Luud has a cased RK KVK with swords.

That’s a case made by the Austrian maker Texler. These were used by Souval for their KVK RK series.
