I just picked up this interesting uniform and I'm attempting to do some research on it.
Cleanly named to 'Denton, J.A.' and it has a very nice ribbon rack from WW2 into early Vietnam service.
When trying a basic search I ran into "Jeremiah A. Denton" who had a very illustrious career and was a POW at Hanoi Hilton during the war before becoming a Senator later on.
Attached is a picture of the uniform. Second, is a photo of Jeremiah Denton on his return to America in 1973. He was a Commander going into Vietnam and promoted to Captain during capture. The ribbon rack in the 1973 pic appears to match exactly.
