Any example of camo M1 helmet (not with cover) used during the Korean war?
I am curious due time ago a collector proposed me a white camo helmet from korean war....

I suppose in historical photos you may find some , but unless it's from the vet..caveat emptor.

Finally some shots....seller states that comes from vet home but, of course, this is only a story....in any case the shell seems from 1951 model and , i don't remember where but i already saw some photos of US soldiers wearing white helmets during the winter campaign in Korean wars.....

I must agree with juoneen. I doubt many white camo helmets would have left the country, and those that did would have been repainted in the US. Be very suspicious!

On the other hand, white painted American Legion, VFW etc. color guard helmets and helmet liners abound.

I checked finally the lot number of the helmet.... 502A and down there is an "S" which I imagine be the maker....Schlueter...
