I recently picked this up. I am still trying to learn about these swords. Can someone help me with the signature? I see a tang stamp....is this a Showa stamp? Am I correct in stating this was not a military sword? I believe the Saya has some sort of lacquer finish. It is cracking and has come off in some places. I like the dragon Menuki. The design on the end of Kashira appears to be a Samurai helmet? Anything special about the Tsuba? Any information and/or help is appreciated.
