Thanks everyone for the responses so far! Geoff, it is always a treat to see your pics. If I ever move my collection along, I will need to hire you for the catalog pics.

I saw your post about the Yasukuni sword earlier, Stu. I am hoping to put up a few more pics. of the sword in a few days. Yep, one smith down, a few more to go to complete the collection (one can dream).

Interesting. Here are my 2 Masayuki swords with the crab claw Hamon. I guess to keep with the topic of the thread, the top sword was 2015 pickup. Also got a pair of Nagamitsu swords, one in type 3 mounts and the other in Type 98. Additionally, I got a very nice Type 98 by Kajiyama Yasunori. Tried to pick up a Kotani Yasunori but missed it for 2015 it looks like. Sold most of my knife collection to refocus my collection.
