Standard Japanese Army summer tunic questions

Hello Just bought a Japanese army tunic from a military dealer, it has arrived, and to be honest looks brand new. I have heard there are a lot of pristine un issued items of Japanese uniform out there, but how do I put my mind at rest this item is real. Are there any manufacturing clues.

    Hi,

Collar should have a wire hook and eye fastener (or two). There should be four ink issue stamps inside on the left breast pocket, two vertical rectangles, one blank and the other with three columns for size (right side), date (middle) and depot. There are also two smaller stamps, one inspection and one stating the 'Type' as in 5, 98 or 3 in kanji.

Search this site for issue stamps and tunics, there is a lot of good information on here at your finger tips.

Mint, surplus WW2 unissued tunics are super common in Japan.
