japanese winter liner or coat (unknown)

Acquired this nice conditioned fur/faux fur parka liner or pull over coat made of od brownish green fur, lined in burlap type material, believed to be Japanese because vet brought this back with Japanese helmet I currently have on stand. Slip over with hood lined in fur and trimmed with another type of fur., front has 10-12 inch zipper , see pics and please advise if this is Japanese or what? approximate value. Piece looks similar to some winter wear Japanese that I've seen in pics., any help appreciated

Look for issue stamps, if it's Japanese Army issue they should be there. Officers taylor made items usually had maker's tags and embroidered names.

I've not seen a parka like this in association with the Imperial Japanese Army but what do I know.

            tag missing

there does seem to be a small tag gone but stitch lines still visible inside neck area, that's all I see

Looks more like US troops from Greenland.
