    Japanese Ribbons??

    Went to a local auction and picked up several military items ranging from a U.S. WWI helmet to a theater made knife. In the lot was a tin box and it had these ribbons along with various other odds and ends. Can someone please help me identify these and the era they are from? I don't know anything about Japanese items.
    Thanks for any help, it is greatly appreciated.

    I had to consult back and forth with Richard Catalano's informative site -- so corrections are appreciated.

    A. National Shrine Foundation Commemorative Medal 1940
    B. National Foundation Merit Medal 1933 (Manchukuo)
    C. ???
    D. Imperial Visit to Japan Commemorative Medal 1935 (Manchukuo) (??)
    E. Order of the Pillars of State (Manchukuo)
    F. Order of the Rising Sun
    G. Order of the Golden Kite
    H. Crown Prince's Voyage to Korea
    I. ???

      Guy, you lettered these by vertical columns, right? 1st column--starting with A--is on the left.

      C looks to be 1934 Manchukuo Emperor Enthronement.
      both F and G are Rising Sun, as mentioned.
      H seems to be 1939 Nomonhan Incident Medal.
      I is probably 1940 Manchukuo Census.

      As a side note, these Japanese ribbons all appear unused and are most likely replicas.

        These are being mounted in Japan & sold as ribbon bars. Beware
