Boxed Torpedo badge!

Looking for info on this Torpedo badge! I have heard a couple things
and would like to know more?

I have seen 1 on ebay from Japan but believe this box is older!

Quality looks very nice!

This is a nice example. I have collected the Japanese Navy proficiency badges and the boxes are much harder to find than the badges. Yours is wonderful to find the set together.

Came into the OVMS show this weekend and got it!

I saw one on a buy it now price of 1,400.00 from Japan!

Seems like a crazy price! I don't collect them so will have to sell
if I can get a real fair price value!

Yours is a later badge. Although prices vary according to the whims of the market, I think a fair value ranges from $150 to $350 (USD). The latter price may be a bit high.

The badge you have is one of the more common ones, so the original case adds a lot to its value. I have bought the badge alone for around $150 over the years. The price seems constant.
