        Yes...with the help of one of the resident experts (a very talented Mr K. Morita) we have the following:



        I cannot determine if it is gimei or not, but I am not sure the workmanship matches the mei. Gimei is a false signature added to an item. The item is real, but it wasn't made by the person who signed it. Extremely common with Japanese art and swords. Doesn't make the item junk, just not as presented. Always buy the work, not the signature.
