    Help with T-90 Liner Pad

Hey Guys, Here are a few pics of a Type 90 I got recently I was wondering if anyone can help me with deciphering the liner pad stamp. There was an old Roach egg capsule stuck to the pad from storage and I guess when it was laid the moisture wicked into the pad and blurred the stamping. Any help deciphering the year of manufacture would be appreciated I know these are the later style silky chinstraps but I just cant make out the year. Thanks, Geoff

Sorry, the ink is too faint. Often I need to use an alternate light source and view from an angle. Can't do that in this instance.

I have a helmet with a 1943 date, thats got the same silky straps. It has the multi piece leather liner pads. My guess would be 43. I think the multi piece leather liner pads were more common in 43/44, and not sure I have seen silky straps in a 42 dated helmet. Just a guess, as I have seen 44 dated helmets in this configuration as well????

Guy do you know if this type of ink glows under black light? I don't have one but I need one of those little hand held ones anyway.

Every collector needs a black light. I agree those silky chinstraps from 43-45
