I wrote an (english) article about the 28 cm howitzer (11-inch-howitzer) which was used in the siege of Port Arthur 1904, see here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/28_cm_Howitzer_L/10
While researching more about this gun I read that some sources called the 28 cm howitzer also "Osaka Babies" due to the fact that the guns had been manufactured at the Osaka Artillery Arsenal.
Can someone confirm that the IJA was using the term "Osaka Babies" ? And if yes, please provide source.
Thanks everyone,
