Very nice sword and from photography one can tell you are no rookie to this, so why no narrative? Im interested and so are others and your mailbox is full. Dont know enough about the tassel issue but China is making some impressive fakes

I agree with Gunto on the tassels, just one of my general rules that if I didn't pull them out of a vets closet myself, they're fake. That and multiple general grade tassels in one photo is a rarity. That being said, I'm just basing my opinion (for whatever that's worth) on general rules I have used as CYA rules .

Gunto, I see what you mean about the seppa appearing to have had a larger habaki before. Maybe lighting, maybe that is the case and its a pieces together example. Always harder to tell when you don't have these things in hand, or lots of very detailed pics.
